What exactly is a rumrunner you ask? The “Rum Runner” originated in the 1950s at the Holiday Isle Tiki Bar in Florida. Legend has it, the cocktail was invented to use up an excess of rum and liqueurs, making room for new inventory. Little did they know, it would become a hit! This fruity, flavorful, and strong drink is the ultimate refresher for a warm summer day. Think small cocktail-sized portion of a rum punch, tweaked in ways to better suit the smaller vessel of a highball glass. Although different recipes call for different ingredients, there are two that are universal: a light and a dark rum.

Ingredients:
- 2 oz Toasted Coconut Rum
- 1 oz Dark Pineapple Rum
- 1½ oz Pineapple Juice
- 1½ oz Orange Juice
- ¾ oz Lime Juice
- ½ oz Grenadine
Preparation:
- Combine all the ingredients into a shaker tin with ice.
- Shake and strain into a tiki mug or glass over ice.
- Garnish with a pineapple wedge and a cherry and ENJOY!
