Here are some of the best pumpkin patches near Hilton Head Island:

1. The Island Recreation Center’s Annual Pumpkin Patch Event

2. Dempsey Farms

Located just 15 minutes from Hilton Head Island, Dempsey Farms offers a wide variety of pumpkins perfect for carving or decorating. Visitors can also take a hayride through their fields and participate in other fun fall activities like corn mazes and pony rides. Dempsey Farms offers pumpkins for sale in the shop or farmstand and a pumpkin patch-pick in the field.

11 miles east of Beaufort on Highway 21 South. Head west on US-278. Exit onto SC-170 East toward Beaufort. Turn right onto SC-128. Slight right onto US-21/Parris Island Gateway. Turn right onto US-21 S/Ladys Island Dr. Turn right onto US-21 S/Sea Island Pkwy.

3. Holiday Farms

Holiday Farms, located about an hour away from Hilton Head Island, is a popular spot for families to pick their own pumpkins and enjoy a day on the farm. They also have a large corn maze, hayrides, and other attractions like pig races and a petting zoo.

Directions from Hilton Head:

Get on 170 towards Beaufort. Just past Oldfield, take the first paved road to the left- SC-462. Follow until it dead ends at Coosawhatchie. Turn right onto SC-462 for .6 miles. Make a left onto SC-462/Morgan Dollar Rd. for 4 miles to a dead end. Turn right onto US-278/Grays Hwy. for 1.4 miles to The Great Pumpkin Patch on the right—look for the big orange pumpkin.

Follow Hwy. 278 West to Hwy. 46 West. Hwy. 46 is also named Bluffton Rd. Follow signs to continue on Hwy. 46, which later becomes May River Rd. Follow May River Rd. for about 1.5 miles. Cahills is on the right.
