Halloween is right around the corner and there are lots of ways to partake in that time-honored tradition of trick-or-treating!
1. Halloween Hike – Oatland Island Wildlife Center

Take a walk with your Trick or Treaters down the forest trail to meet and gather goodies from friendly animal characters in this year’s fully outdoor event. Mother Earth will be there to lead you to the path to the various character and candy stops along the hike.
2. Providence Church’s Trick or Treat Trail!

Kids of all ages can enjoy candy stations, an amazing maze, lights, bonfires, hayride, movies, face painting, and hot dogs/hamburgers. The Church‘s Trick or Treat Trail is free and open to the community!
3. Coligny Plaza’s Halloween at Coligny

Trick or Treat at all of the shops and eateries around Coligny. Enter the costume contest for gift cards!!!
5. The Bluffton Police Department’s Third Annual Safety Spooktacular
- October 27 at Oscar Frazier Park
This event evolved from the annual National Night Out. In 2021, the National Night Out was canceled due to weather so BPD combined the objective of National Night, which is to provide a venue for the public to meet first responders, with Halloween fun. The Spooktacular event was embraced by the Bluffton community and a new tradition was born. This event invites all residents of all ages to meet (and possibly dance) with their community’s first responders, trunk-n-treat, enjoy the deejay and meet community groups which contribute to our collective public safety. This free event is an opportunity to learn more about local agencies and non-profit organizations which are all working together as partners in public and personal safety. Each organization will be distributing safety information as well as Halloween candy. Bluffton police officers will also be grilling hotdogs for the public. All attendees, of any age, are encouraged to wear costumes. A costume contest will be held at 6:30 p.m. for all ages. Don’t forget to get a costume for your furry friends because there

traffic-free candy collecting area features dozens of themed trunks and ends at the area’s largest field maze. All you need to do is dress up, get candy, and have a good time.7. The 2023 Hardeeville Trunk-or-Treat event at 205 Main Street, Hardeeville.

Get ready for an evening filled with spooky fun and tons of treats. Dress up in your favorite costume and bring your family and friends along for a night of excitement. The event will feature creatively decorated car trunks where you can go trick-or-treating.
Explore the different trunks and collect a variety of candies and goodies. Don’t forget to show off your costume and take memorable photos at our designated photo booth area. In addition to the trunk-or-treating, enjoy inflatables, a trunk decor contest, and a costume contest covering 4 age groups.
