What do Basketball, Football and Golf have in common?
They’re three very different sports with the same ground-up work needed for championship-level success.
Steph Curry is an All Pro NBA player, while Payton Manning is a Hall of Fame quarterback. Both men love golf and learned quickly that the foot skills they learned on the court and the field also work on the golf course. It’s a simple transfer of footwork fundamentals.
Curry is small by NBA standards. But he succeeded partly because his pro-basketball father taught him that both shooting the ball and playing defense start with the footwork. Manning, a two-time Superbowl Champion and now TV Commercial Star, stands 6’5″ and weighs 230 pounds. His pro-football player dad taught him to move his feet first so his giant body can outrun the tacklers.
In Golf you also need proper footwork for a full golf swing. See the photo. Want to perfect your footwork and your swing? Come visit us at Palmetto Dunes Golf Academy. We’ll show you the literal steps to add distance and accuracy to your game and the short game footwork that will lower your score.
