Cooking Thanksgiving dinner doesn’t start on November 28.
There are trips to the grocery store, decorating your holiday table and don’t forget the turkey has to thaw. That’s a lot of work! Especially if you are vacationing on the Island.
You and your family might want to just relax or enjoy fun quality time this holiday. Why not have somebody do all the work for you. You may be asking yourself, Are any restaurants open on Thanksgiving? The answer is yes. Since Hilton Head is a tourist town, many of its restaurants make sure that out-of-towners have dining options. This is true even (or especially) on Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving Dining at Sea Pines:
- Links will offer a prix fixe meal with some twists on Thanksgiving favorites. Please call 843-363-8380 to make reservations. There will also be a Thanksgiving buffet in the Champions Ballroom from 1-6 p.m. Call 843-842-1971 for reservations.
- Fraser’s Tavern will offer a selection of traditional Thanksgiving fixings to-go, including smoked turkey, stuffing, mac and cheese and green bean casserole.Call 843-842-1441 to place an order.
- Coast will serve its dinner menu all day long with some festive a la carte selections.
