The Shelter Cove Towne Centre, Hilton Head’s newest shopping destination, is now open with new stores, restaurants and a redesigned Shelter Cove Community Park that provide guests with the quintessential Hilton Head Island experience.
Spearheaded by Kroger, the multimillion-dollar Shelter Cove Towne Centre aims to bring new revenue through tourism and great food and create a family-friendly shopping destination that both tourists and locals can enjoy; something the island was lacking.
“We thought there was a need for it,” said Blake Fraum, co-owner Coastal Bliss. “And we are excited that Shelter Cove has turned into a shopping destination and … people can go to one place and have a variety of different shopping options.”
Guests will find everything from accessories at Heritage Fine Jewelry, t-shirts at Coastal Provisions Company, sunglasses at Woody’s and accessories, shoes, work by local artists and hundreds of other fun souvenirs at ArtWare, to inflatables, tennis rackets, sportswear and shoes at Player’s World of Sports and the Palmetto Running Company.
With such a large array of options, shoppers bound to find something special at Shelter Cove Towne Centre. Be it a fresh Citrus Salt Scrub from Nourish, a beautifully flowy bohemian skirt at Copper Penny boutique, or even having your picture snapped with stars like Venus Williams, who hold promotional visits at the Towne Center, there is something for everyone to enjoy.
Jake’s Wayback Burgers and The French Bakery and Courtyard Cafe will open this May and join the restaurant line-up, which includes New York City Pizza and Poseidon, one of the newest restaurants on Hilton Head, which is drawing in crowds with their coastal cuisine and rooftop bar that overlooks the city’s newly renovated Shelter Cove Community Park and marsh views of Broad Creek.
