If you’ve been laying on the beach all day and start to get a little hungry, or need a drink, then head on over to Coligny. With such a wide array of foods that satisfies all kinds of palates, it might be hard to decide where to go, but no fear, we’ve picked a few spots you might want to try. Check them out:
Frosty Frog Café
Frosty Frog may not be a Hilton Head Island original, but it is still a favorite. This bar with tropical décor just sets the scene for a good time. Not only is their drink list extensive and flavorful, but they have some of the best outdoor seating in all of Coligny with several TVs and fans.
They have typical bar food that can satisfy a hungry stomach from the beach with pizzas, wings, chicken strips, wraps, fish tacos, crab cake and several other seafood favorites. If you want a bite of everything then go for Leigh’s Combo Boat, which comes with cheese sticks, tenders, fries and their fresh peel-and-eat shrimp. Another great option is Harold’s Papaya Coconut Shrimp, a sweet papaya with coconut-crusted shrimp served with a sweet and tangy Caribbean sauce. If you’re looking to be a little more adventurous, then you can even order Frosty’s legs!
If you’re looking for a delicious drink, Sandee’s Daiquari Bar has you covered. With everything from the mango Jump Start, Tropicolada and the strawberry kiwi Incredible Hulk to the Creamsicle, Strawberry Shortcake, Peppermint Patty, Southern Lemonade and so many others, there is a flavor for everyone. They even have non-alcoholic Strawberry and Pina Colada drinks if kids want something cold. And to remember your experience with the Frog, you can get a memento at Frosty’s Closet.

Market Street Café
A few years after Market Street Café opened in 1985, the owners asked Joni Gianguzzi if she’d be interested in purchasing Market Street Café, and with help from waitress friend Carolyn Baltz, she decided to go for it. Now Joni and Carolyn own the restaurant and try to get the freshest ingredients so their homemade dishes are as good as they can be.
Market Street Café is an American-Mediterranean restaurant, serving a variety of dishes, from their original Greek, Greek chicken, spinach and veggie pizzas to gyro and humburger sliders, wraps, hot subs, fresh salads and Greek specials. For something more Mediterranean, try the Spanakopita Dinner, Pastitsio Dinner or their Souvlakia, which is tender chunks of lamb, onions and peppers sautéed in lemon juice and garlic and served with lettuce, tomatoes and tsatsiki sauce.

Cupcake flavors include the raspberry zinger, sea turtle, pina colada, peanut butter cup, éclair, wedding cake, salted caramel, cookies and cream, tye-dye, strawberry margarita, coconut snowball, sweet Georgia brown and Velvet Elvis, a employee favorite banana cake topped with peanut butter cream cheese frosting and bacon bits.
