This season, don’t miss the new pickleball programming at Palmetto Dunes.
There is little doubt that Hilton Head had a tough winter, but spring is upon us and with it comes new pickleball programming.
At Palmetto Dunes, our round robin play is the hallmark of our programming. In 2018, we will augment our daily morning adult round robins, held from 10 to 11:30 a.m., with afternoon adult round robins on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 4:30 p.m. It is not uncommon for there to be 20 or more people playing in our round robins, which are pro-supervised and organized based on skill levels.
We have also started a Pickleball Club at Palmetto Dunes to target locals and guests visiting for multiple weeks and months. People who start playing pickleball often want to play five to seven days a week, and the Palmetto Dunes Pickleball Club is the most affordable way to facilitate frequent play. If you are a regular pickleball player, you need to check out this program. It comes with four different membership periods, with both individual and family memberships available.
Lastly, beginning on March 1, we will offer programs for juniors and families visiting the Island. Our junior program targets ‘tweens and teens from 11 to 15 who are interested in meeting and playing with kids their own age and with their family. We also have programs for families with children under the age of 11.
This spring, come out and join us for some pickleball fun!
