After a great day on the beach, or an afternoon of shopping, why not go out for the perfecting end to your day.
Hilton Head may seem like a sleepy island, but at night it lights up with great night time bars and restaurants open well into the morning. Below are a few of our favorite late night hangouts, definitely worth checking out!
Street Meet
95 Matthews Drive
Late night eating usually involves burgers, fries, cheese of some kind or another and, of course, alcohol. But Street Meet has a different take. Healthy and delicious food make up the main dish, served with a side of delicious. This late night American tavern has taken basic bar food and transformed it into our favorite non-guilty pleasure. Burgers, gyros, fries and fish, everything is made fresh to order from local ingredients. So if your group is ordering the grouper, it’ll be straight from the docks. Street Meet even has a Healthy Menu for those who are looking for vegetarian and gluten free options other than salad.
Even the drink specials are focused around staying local. All the bourbon and whiskey sitting on the liquor shelf is American brewed, as well as all the beers on tap and draft. One of the best things about Street Meet, though, is the fact that they are one of the only kitchens on the Island to stay open until 1 a.m. or later. They really stay open until people stop ordering. Street Meet is more than just your average, late night bar with its healthy take on food, delicious American brewed beer, and did we mention that it is a Browns bar? If you happen to follow the Cleveland Browns during football season, stop by Street Meet for some great comradery, win or lose.

The Frosty Frog Cafe
Coligny Plaza, 1 North Forest Beach Drive #18
Frosty the frog originally lived in Erie, PA but soon grew tired of all the snow and ice. After saying goodbye he made it to Charlotte, NC where he shared his love of food and frozen daiquiris. But still, Frosty wasn’t happy. He wanted to be near the ocean. With one more leap, Frosty brought his frozen daiquiris, pizzas and burgers to Hilton Head. Serving up great cafe food from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. seven days a week, the Frosty Frog Cafe became an instant Hilton Head classic. Pastel colors, surfboards and everything tropical line the walls as well as the patio. Frosty may be from Pennsylvania but he knows how to decorate and party like an Islander. With over 27 daiquiri flavors, the Frost Frog has the best frozen drink selection in town, perfect for a hot summer’s night out.

A true Island classic, Reilley’s Grill and Bar has been on Hilton Head since 1982. For all 33 years, Reilley’s has been a family owned and operated Bostonian Pub complete with what can be considered the Island’s best patio.
