RBC Heritage

April 9 – 15: RBC Heritage, which for 2012 will return to its traditional week in April immediately following the Masters Tournament, has been an important element of South Carolina’s culture and economy since 1969, when it debuted at the Pete Dye-designed Harbour Town Golf Links. 2011 Heritage tournament winner Brandt Snedeker.

April 1 – 30:
Gullah Heritage Trail Tours depart from the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn, Tuesday-Sunday. Experience the Gullah culture of Hilton Head Island on a two-hour tour of 10 neighborhoods established during the Civil War. April 1 – 30:

April 1 – 10:

April 2 – 6:
Gregg Russell Concerts under the Liberty Oak in Harbour Town, Monday-Friday, 7:30-9 p.m. Family-oriented singer/storyteller performs sing-a-longs, ballads and silly songs with audience participation. Complimentary. (843) 842-1979 or seapines.com.

April 3 – 4:
“Symphony Under the Stars – Music of the Night!” presented by the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra at the Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn. Gates open at 6 p.m.; concert begins at 7:30 p.m. An evening of opera, classical and popular Broadway music conducted by John Morris Russell. Bring your own picnic. April 3:

April 6 – 7:

Easter Eggstravaganza at Shelter Cove Park, 10:30-1:30 p.m. The Egg Hunt begins at 11 a.m. sharp, plus blowup rides, music, face painting and more.
